Let’s say you have a site present in tons of countries – site.fr, site.co.uk, etc. Would any of you know of a way to have Alexa aggregate all the traffic on site.com?
Needless to say using france.site.com is not an option as locals would not go for it…
Actually, while I am at it, I might as well ask another question 🙂 What if site.com also owns site2.com. Anyway for both traffic to show up under site.com on Alexa without changing the URL of site2.com?
Thanks!
Could you create redirect pages for site.fr, site.co.uk, etc. and have them land at france.site.com and uk.site.com? I would think the local consumers would be okay with this. The same should work with site2.site.com.
If the sites are totally unrelated, and site2.site.com wouldn’t work, I don’t think there is a way to get around this with Alexa.
