Typical leftist shift of blame from the people what really caused the situation. Phil Graham has been a fiscal conservative since day 1 and as such is as blameless as Senator can possibly be. ( that is to say nonzero )
FYI: A meaningful NONZERO ( effective = interest rate – inflation rate ) interest rate is required for a stable financial system. When it costs nothing to speculate its should not be a big surprise that the system goes unstable. The FED simply left interest rates too low too long. Of course it does not help that political pressure was applied to end redlining among many other things.
All stable systems have significant real axis involvement 1 + 1j for instance. You can’t go to .1 + 1j and not expect severe humping of your bode plot.
